Mehitabel has been performing since 1978, having made her first stage appearance at the age of 13 and since been involved in performances in theatre, dance, dramatic ritual, and an underground horror movie, ‘The Necrofile’. She has been a professional theatrical & dance costumier since 1984, working on shows for artistes and companies as diverse as ARC, Siobhan Davies Dance Company, Northern Ballet Theatre, Rambert, and the Royal Ballet. Since 1983, she has been involved in the goth/alternative scene, from the early days of Bauhaus to more modern EBM/Industrial/Darkwave influences. She is an ordained Gnostic Priestess and ritual magician.
